The role
Lead a high-energy team delivering life-changing community participation
Lead a dedicated team of nine support workers delivering group activities, skill development, and community access programs across Western Sydney.
Balance team mentoring, roster coordination, and active participant engagement to ensure vibrant, person-centered program delivery that participants look forward to every week.
What your week looks like
Provide daily leadership, shift coordination, and direct mentoring to 9 community support workers.
Coordinate weekly excursion schedules, center-based activity calendars, and transport logistics.
Conduct regular 1-on-1 check-ins, team meetings, and structured shift handovers.
Partner with participants and support coordinators to ensure goals are being actively pursued and celebrated.
Oversee incident reporting, roster adjustments, and continuous feedback resolution.
What you will bring
Certificate IV or Diploma in Disability, Community Services, or relevant leadership experience.
Minimum 2 years supporting NDIS participants, with proven supervisory or team lead experience.
Strong organizational abilities, active empathy, and diplomatic conflict resolution skills.
NDIS Worker Screening clearance and a valid NSW driver licence.
Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
Helpful, not essential
Experience designing engaging community programs or vocational skill workshops.
Familiarity with rostering and CMS platforms (e.g. ShiftCare, Deputy, Supportability).
Existing connections with Western Sydney disability community organizations and venues.
Watching participants build confidence in group settings and seeing my team back each other up every day is the most rewarding work I've done.
