The role
Specialized, 1-on-1 high intensity care for participants in Western Sydney
Deliver vital daily support for participants with complex physical, neurological, and medical needs across Liverpool and surrounding suburbs.
Work closely with registered nurses and clinical teams to carry out participant-specific high-intensity protocols with compassion, vigilance, and precision.
What the shift involves
Complex manual handling using overhead tracking and standing hoists with two-person assists where rostered.
Assisting with PEG enteral feeding flushes and administering routine oral and subcutaneous medications.
Assisting with pressure injury prevention, repositioning schedules, and vigilant skin integrity observation.
Supported community outings, medical appointments, and hydrotherapy transport.
Precise clinical logging and shift note submission via the supplied mobile app.
What you will bring
Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or Allied Health Assistance.
Verified competency in High Intensity Support Skills (or willingness to undertake paid clinical training with our RNs).
Current First Aid, CPR, and NDIS Worker Screening clearance.
NSW driver licence and reliable insured vehicle for participant community access.
Strong emotional intelligence, punctuality, and calm attentiveness under pressure.
Helpful, not essential
Specific training in catheter care, complex bowel care, or tracheostomy support.
Experience with complex epilepsy and emergency midazolam protocols.
Bilingual fluency (Arabic, Hindi, or Vietnamese advantageous in Liverpool).
