Is SIL right for you?
SIL is funded when you need help with daily tasks in a shared or individual home. If you're unsure whether your plan covers it, we'll read through it with you at no cost.

SIL is drawn from Core Supports. The exact amount depends on your assessed level of support and the roster of care agreed in your plan.

The main SIL line. Covers the support hours rostered in your home, set by your assessed level of support.

Support to find and keep housing, and to sort tenancy, bond and utilities before you move in.
Assistive technology & home mods
Rails, ramps, hoists and other modifications so the home works for you from day one.
Specialist Disability Accommodation
Funding for the physical dwelling structure for participants with high physical support needs.

No. SIL funds the support workers, not the accommodation. Rent, bills and food come out of your own income, usually the Disability Support Pension and Commonwealth Rent Assistance.
